South Africa, Gathering, Religion Service, 18th – 20th November 2011
In South Africa, South Africans Against Drunk Driving (SADD) has sent Posters announcing the World Day and road death and injury statistics to schools, churches and their own members, encouraging them to hold events on World Day.
The following events are due to take place: on 18th November a Display of 200 crosses, banners and crashed cars by SADD in Chatterton Road, Pietermaritzburg and on 20th November Remembrance services in the Church of the Ascension, Hilton, Pietermaritzburg and in Newton Park Methodist Church, Port Elizabeth; the “Drive More Safely Organization” will display 1,000 crosses in Fish Hoek.
