Memorial Gallery
This Gallery has two sections – MONUMENTS– memorials of a permanent kind and a section showing a variety of OTHER MEMORIALS, which include memorial woods and gardens. The images are arranged by continent and, so far, in both these categories, most memorials that are known appear to be in Europe. Hopefully more memorials to road crash victims will be identified elsewhere and their photographs supplied for inclusion in the relevant gallery.
Having both these galleries on the website may also become helpful to all those who are advocating for a national memorial in their country, on their continent, during the Decade of Action for Road Safety.
It would rightly be considered a great success, if at the end of the Decade of Action for Road Safety every country were to have a national memorial to road crash victims.
