African Union’s Executive Council endorses the African Action Plan for the Decade
In January 2012 the Executive Council of the Twentieth Ordinary Session of the African Union endorsed the decision of the Second Ordinary Session of the African Union Conference of Ministers of Transport with regard to the African Action Plan for the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020.
The decision also proclaims the third Sunday of November, which is the annual World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, as Africa’s Road Safety Day.
