12:00 – Simulation of pedestrian being run over and of victim support, in front of Cascais Town Hall, in partnership with Civil Protection of Cascais.

15:00 – Solemn Session in the Grand Hall of the Town Hall

– Testimonies from relatives of road victims

– Speech by a representative of Estrada Viva – League Against  Road Trauma

– Speech by Paulo Marques, President of ANSR

– Speech by representative of Ministry of Health

– Speech by Carlos Carreiras, Mayor of Cascais

16:15 – Concentration in front of the Town Hall

– Minute of silence in memory of road victims

– Deposition of flowers in front of the Town Hall

– Release of black and white balloons, one for each fatality recorded on Portuguese roads from January to October 2012

– Musical moment by the Choir of the Red Cross of Cascais, during the release of balloons.

– Placing of candles opposite the Town Hall – part of the ‘Light of Hope’ initiative.
