4. Recognising for best doctor/nurse/ambulance staff who on duty tirelessly save lives for victims of road traffic crashes and their families.
5. Recognising for best reporter and news item for road safety.
6. Recognising for best APSRTC driver who had not met with accidents this year.
7. Recognising for best school and college for practicing road safety awareness.
8. Recognising for best Fire brigade personnel.
9. Recognising for best road safety trainer.

Forum for Prevention of Road Accidents
We, The Ability People (TAP), are an Visakhapatnam
(India) based road safety development organisation.
We have undertaken to promote 3R’s – Road Safety,
Right to Emergency Care and Rehabilitation for
accident victims nationally through our “Project
Bavishya” programme.
Indian Federation of Road Safety (IFROS) is a non-profit voluntary organisation dedicated to the cause of making roads safe for drivers and pedestrians alike. Incorporated in the year 2009, IFROS mission is to develop a new Road Safety Culture in India among the road users and to make all road users aware of the dangers of Road Traffic Accidents. In furtherance of this mission, IFROS works on several levels with various stakeholders in State and Central Governments to achieve the
* To bring down the increasing number of accidents.
* To earmark separate funds for Road Safety programmes.
* To draw up specific programmes to improve major roads for safe travel, to protect vulnerable road users and to improve driver training, licensing and monitoring procedures.
* To obtain better co-ordination between various government departments and NGOs.
* To create information system on accidents and to suggest post-accident relief and other remedial measures.
