“World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims”

We, at Mother India Care (MIC), a non – profitable and charitable trust are promoting road safety for prevention of crashes so as to ensure safer roads as Indian roads are the most deadliest roads in the world. We are promoting WHO event “World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (WDR) on 20th November, 2016 at Kitturu Rani Channamma Sports Complex, Jayanagar, Bangalore.

This day is observed to be commemorated to keep alive the memory of our near and dear innocent one’s who lost their lives in road mishaps. It is the ceremony to solemnize as paying tribute to the impeccable lives deceased or impaired in the road crashes and also to their families and friends; who are deeply affected and also to honor and felicitate the work of the devoted Emergency Crew, Traffic Police and Medical Professionals who regularly deal with the harrowing fallout of the fatal or injurious victims of road crashes and also to felicitate good Samaritans who voluntarily come forward to save lives of road accident victims. The day is thus acknowledged on the Third Sunday of November every year.

Our organization has been promoting and encouraging Road Safety Awareness amongst the general mass. The honorary event will observe the execution of the activities Runathon, Walkathon and cyclothon to enable good health, safer environment and safer roads.

The other event highlights include the following activities like: 3 KM Road Safety Pledge / Tribute March by wearing black colour shoulder band to indicate mourn; followed by Helicopter Flower Shower, activities by Corporate Houses, Unveil and Display of the Wall of Remembrance, comprising of Photographs and Names of the deceased road accident victims, Brand Launch of ARC Road Safety Journal; our National Periodical on road safety and pioneering the National Project; Accident Relief Center (ARC) by slicing an ARC sculptured cake.

The Event will not only observe the presence of eminent and dignified personalities from Government of Karnataka but also the International Celebrities and WWE Wrestler, The Great Khali as our Brand Ambassador including Celebrities from South Indian Film Industry and Sports Stars. We are expecting huge footfall and hoping to increase this number to five times.

“Mother India Care”

Mother India Care is a national level registered public charitable, irrevocable and non-profit making trust based at Bangalore. Mother India Care is moving with its slogan of Serving Humanity.

Mother India Care is endeavoring with its main objectives of providing help and supporting child education, medical assistance to chronic disease patients and accident victims, setting up of multi-specialty hospital, poverty relief, women welfare, old age homes, shelters for homeless and road accident relief amongst others social welfare services. We are also going to set up chain of Accident Relief Centers on major Highways across India to provide emergency services at the accident spot during golden and first hour of the accident. We have planned to set up around 2100 ARCs across India.

We are having a network of more than 200 plus NGOs, and we are in the process of setting up of State wise Executive Committee in all the states. We will be approaching all the Member of Parliaments MPs to set up at-least one ARC in their region. We are increasing the number of our donors / sponsors day by day and also the network of volunteers. We have also scheduled annual fundraising events to fund our projects. We participate in National Road Safety Week and also promote World Day of Remembrance and also World Road Safety Week.

Mother India Care has undertaken various social work task so as to provide relief to weaker section and also to below poverty line people. The MIC has also undertaken the task of providing financial aid to weaker section through its smart payout card.

We support, respect and value each other and work without prejudice. We are professionals and proud of our diversity, and united by a common and noble cause. We are an independent charitable trust rooted in the communities we serve. We use our insight to innovate and inspire change in policies, services and minds. We are introducing new services to meet changing needs.
