Arrive SAFE will organize road safety events in Chennai and Andhra Pradesh, in collaboration with the British Council India and Ananda. At an official function, the foundation stone for a memorial for road crash victims will be laid.

EVENT 1

2. Target audience: Youth [School, College students] and their parents
3. Activities: Slogan writing and Essay writing competition and on-hand activities in British Library, Chennai.
4. Expected reach: 45,000 – 50,000 persons

EVENT 2

1. Partners: ArriveSAFE, Ananda
2. Target audience: Parts of Rural Andhra Pradesh [One of the biggest states of India]
3. Activities: Distribution of educational materials to school students
4. Expected reach: 5000 – 6000 persons

Reporting on 20th November:

The Haryana Police observed the WDR at an impressive state level function. District [county] level functions were held in 21 districts.
