“World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims”

Recommendations of the injured and their families toward the quality of health care in the government hospitals of Cairo, Egypt,

Survey of perception and recommendations of patients and their families due to RTI on quality of health care

– A survey was developed targeting the injured and their families visiting the governmental hospitals in Cairo district to understand their perception on the quality of pre-hospital and hospital care and their recommendations to the hospitals policy makers

– The occupational health department of the health directorate in Cairo will conduct on Thursday 03-November-2016 , a training awareness to the social workers of all the hospitals to train them on the tool

– The data collection will be conducted for 10 days , between 6-17 November 2016

– Data will be analyzed and the patients perception on the quality of health care in the hospitals and their recommendations will be developed

– A conference during the World Day, 20-November-2016 will be conducted in Cairo Health Directorate with all Hospitals Directors. The patients perception and recommednations will be presented and a forward discussion on how to respond to the recommendations and how to overcome such challenges will be discussed

– Cairo governor will be invited for the conference. A formal minutes will be shared to him in case of his non-availability
