Children of Winterland Primary School will stage a play entitled “SAFEROAD-IT’S YOU” to empower all road users namely drivers, passengers and pedestrians to use the mobile phones which are readily owned in Uganda to register details by mobile phone text messages of name, where they come from, the registration number of the vehicle they have travelled in which may also be a commercial motorcycle commonly called “Boda Bodas”, details of the drivers which we suggest should be written on the back of the reflective vests which we recommend should be put on by Taxi or Bus conductors as uniform, on the Driver Display Boards which includes the driver photo (DDBs) that will be hang behind drivers for passengers to see so that when an accident happens and it is immediately reported via mobile phone text messages to our call saferoad Information Sharing Call Centre we shall straight away start to trace the next of Kin and alert them of the accident who should come to assist in the requirements including attending to the road accident victim in the hospital among others. This will send a signal to irresponsible road drivers that they are monitored by other road users and may be prosecuted as well as reduce on the many numbers of road ACCIDENT VICTIMS who are stuck in many Hospitals around the country without anyone /next of kin coming to attend to them because the next of kin are not aware that their relatives were involved in road accidents. As a result a number of mass graves are tourist attractions in Uganda-terrible.
