EFTHITA RHODES: November 16,2014: 3rd Sunday of November: International Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Accident Victims

In 2013, 1061 people were killed on the streets of our country, 1126 serious injuries, 13 515 slightly injured.
26 025 people were killed in Europe.
It was our children, our daughters, our fathers, our mothers, our sisters, our brothers, our friends …
They had hopes and dreams …..
Their lives ended quickly by a road accident ….

EFTHITA RHODES, commemorates the International Day of the 2006 …
Tribute to all those killed …. in the streets of our country.
The Memorial Day is to remember everyone, to think all our responsibilities to protect our children, the children of the world, to embrace the pain, seek righteousness, seek the political will, to apologize… to show that we all care, to build a more secure future in our roads, to create culture for the next generations… to save the lives of others and make the roads safer for us all.
The message of the World Day of Remembrance 2014 on the five continents are:
Speed kills … design out speeding.
A common poster, a common message in all languages of the world.
