Events from EFTHITA  RHODES for the World  Day of Remembrance 2015

• From 9/11 to 11/16/2015, at the central square of Rhodes will be installed vehicle from the traffic police and with the help of film director, will be developed a road incident and will be posted a BANNER for the World Day of Remembrance.

• Sunday 15^TH November  2015

In all the churches of the city of Rhodes during  the morning Mass,  for sixth year,  will be      celebrated a memorial  prayer and will be read  the  speech of Metropolitan of  Rhodes  Mr Kirillos for the World Day of Remembrance.

At  the Cathedral of the Annunciation at 20:00

• Memorial ceremony officiated by Metropolitan of Rhodes Mr Kirillos, with the presence of all authorities, operators and guests. During the memorial ceremony all participants will light their candle that will be offered along with the program, from the volunteers of EFTHITA RHODES, at the entrance to the Cathedral.
• A message will be read from EFTHITA RHODES for the World Day of Remembrance.
• Devout Concert: «Light from the Sky» , by Despotis Sotiris- Savvas Karatzias

Participates the Mixed Choir of Rhodes under the direction of Michael Kalaentzis

• Will be awarded honorary plaques to the composers Despotis Sotiris and Savvas Karatzias for their selfless contribution to the World Day of Remembrance and to EFTHITA RHODES, composing for Devout Concert of the project «Light from the Sky», which will be presented in first Panhellenic execution.
• In the center of the Cathedral will be placed a white bouquet placed in a chair with REMEMBER ME and a large candle will be lit during the devout concert, carrying the message of the presence of all the victims … Invisible YES … Nonexistent NO…
• In the central parterre of the General Hospital of Rhodes, which has been granted in EFTHITA RHODES, from  the Administration of the Hospital RHODES,  dedicated in memory of  Victims, many small candles will be placed in the  theme of butterflies and also  the poster for the World Day of Remembrance.
• Will be posted a television and radio SPOT for Memorial Ceremony-Devout  Concert
• The World Day of Remembrance for Victims of Road Traffic Victims co-organizes the EFTHITA  RHODES with the South Aegean Region
• Support from the Municipal Organization for Culture and Sports of the Municipality of Rhodes, conservatory  Corelli, YOUTH OPERA, CAZINO RODOU, Beyondgroup and all media of Rhodes.

15 Νοεμβρίου 2015: Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Μνήμης Θυμάτων Τροχαίων Δυστυχημάτων

Tο 2014, 867 άνθρωποι έχασαν την ζωή τους στους δρόμους της χώρας μας.
25.845 σκοτώθηκαν στην Ευρώπη. Πάνω από 1.240 εκατομμύρια έχασαν την ζωή τους/ σκοτώθηκαν σε όλον τον κόσμο.
Ήταν γιοι, ήταν κόρες, ήταν αδέλφια, ήταν αδελφές, ήταν πατέρες, ήταν μητέρες, ήταν σύζυγοι, ήταν γονείς, ήταν σύντροφοι, ήταν φίλοι.
Όλοι είχαν ελπίδες και όνειρα.
H ζωή τους τελείωσε …από τροχαίο
Οι πραγματικοί άνθρωποι πίσω από τις στατιστικές.
Η χαμένη οικογένεια, φίλοι και σύντροφοι, ο καθένας πολλά περισσότερα από έναν απλό αριθμό.
Η απώλεια των αγαπημένων μας ράγισε, έσπασε την καρδιά μας αλλά δυνάμωσε την αποφασιστικότητα μας.
Για όλους αυτούς που δεν θέλουμε να ξεχάσουμε, προσπαθούμε να σώσουμε τις ζωές των άλλων, τονίζοντας τους κινδύνους του δρόμου και ευαισθητοποιώντας για τον ανθρώπινο αντίκτυπο των συγκρούσεων της οδικής κυκλοφορίας.
Θυμόμαστε τους αγαπημένους μας ενώ ευαισθητοποιούμε για την οδική συνείδηση.
Εμείς τιμούμε την Παγκόσμια ημέρα μνήμης για τα θύματα τροχαίων
3η Κυριακή του Νοεμβρίου κάθε χρόνο.
Ελάτε μαζί μας καθώς θυμόμαστε όλες τις πολύτιμες ζωές που χάθηκαν στους δρόμους μας, αναγνωρίζοντας το μεγάλο έργο των υπηρεσιών έκτακτης ανάγκης.

Από την παγκόσμια μνήμη στην παγκόσμια δράση κατά την διάρκεια της δεκαετίας
Ήρθε η ώρα να θυμηθούμε . Πείτε όχι στο έγκλημα στον δρόμο/ στο έγκλημα του δρόμου.
Ας κάνουμε το 2011-2020 μια δεκαετία που θα θυμόμαστε/να θυμόμαστε.
Τα τροχαία δεν είναι ατυχήματα… Μπορούμε να τα σταματήσουμε
