| Arrive Alive, in partnership with the Ministry of Transport, hosted a press conference to launch the, “Remember me, Walk & Ride for Road Safety event. On the day of the event, supporters from the cycling fraternity, corporate sponsors, motor sport clubs and road safety advocates gathered to walk and ride in remembrance of those seriously injured or lost to road traffic collisions. Featured addresses were delivered by the Honorable Ministry of Transport, representative of the Australian High Commission and principle corporate sponsor BHP Billiton. A number of local artists also performed road safety calypsos and skits. The master of ceremonies was former national footballer, Brent Sancho. | |
