In Uganda, TOTAL UGANDA,  an oil company, is organizing a days’ event on Sunday 20th November at Nakawa service station starting at 11:00am to 2:00pm. The function is organized by TOTAL UGANDA and Road Safety Awareness Campaign (RSAC), which group has stakeholders such as Uganda National Road Safety Council, Uganda National Roads Authority, Uganda Red Cross, Injury Control Center- Uganda, Uganda Police, Transport Licensing Board etc.

Activities will include: skits and safety demonstrations, victim testimonials, moment of silence for the dead, prayers from different religions – Christians and Moslems, remarks by TOTAL director, Police, Roads Agencies and transportation agencies. The Minister of Transport, Eng Byandala, will be the Guest of Honor.
