Safe Way Right Way Road Safety Caravan is an annual event that seeks to sensitize communities along the Northern Corridor in Kenya on road safety.
The key message is that road crash deaths and injuries are preventable and road safety is the responsibility of all of us.
These messages are delivered through flyers, entertainment, public engagement and talks. The message are targeted and specific to each road user group- pedestrians will be targeted with messages encouraging safe crossing, motorist with speed reduction and respect of other road users and motor cyclists with the reasons why helmet wearing saves lives.
The caravan starts on 13 November-Mombasa and arrives in Nairobi on the 16 November to be flagged off during WDR commemorations to complete sensitization tour on the 19 November in the border town of Malaba.
