“World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (WDR)”
Shell has been conducting Road Safety Awareness Drives in schools along the highway in accordance with our Trade and Supply and Social Investment team for the past 2 years. We aim to engage 3000 students in 200 schools in a time span of 2 years and till now we have engaged about roughly 550 students. For these drives, Shell Pakistan developed a jingle (given in the link above) which is a fun and interactive way to engage children. This jingle will be used as content for the future Road Safety Awareness drives in schools along with a general presentation on road safety. For this day, we will go to different schools to engage more children and also air the song on the radio.
