Pakistan, 17th – 23rd November 2013
On 17th November and throughout the week following the World Day of Remembrance, events will take place in the following cities of Punjab – Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Sheikhupura, coordinated by the Transport & Road Safety Foundation and supported by the Traffic Police of those districts.
On 17th November at 11am – there will be a road safety walk by school children and at 4pm a candle-light vigil, both at Ring Road Lahore
On 18th November, 5pm, a candle-light vigil and road safety lecture will be held at New Crescent High School, Lahore
On 19th November at 9am, there will be a candle-light vigil and lecture on road safety at Vertex School System, Gujranwala
On 20th November, at 11am, a road safety walk of students and at 4pm a candle-light vigil and road safety lecture will take place in Sialkot
On 21st November, at 4pm, a candle-light vigil and road safety lecture will be held in Lahore
On 22nd November, at 4pm, a candle-light vigil and road safety lecture will take place in Sheikhupura
On 23rd November, at 11am, a Seminar on road safety in collaboration with the City Traffic Police will be held in Gujranwala
