On 16th November 2014, on the coordination of Swatantrata Abhiyan and leadership of Lalitpur Sub Metro Office along with Nepal Automobile Sports Association (NASA), Road Safety Forum Nepal, Journalists’ Association for Automobile and Mobility, Appellate Court Bar Association – Patan, Nepal Auto mechanics Association, Shree S. Trading Concern (Nepal Dealer of CEAT Tyre and AGIP Lubricant) organised World Remembrance Day with following activities.
1. Candle Light by 200 plus people on memory of people who lost their life and in support for people injured in road accident.
2. Award for 2 Journalists, 2 lawyers and 1 Ambulance service for their service towards traffic accident victims.
3. Launching of Citizens’ Trust fund for Road Safety Relief
4. Joint oath taking on safer road behaviours
5. Launching of Support Children’s Declaration Campaign

The program will be attended by government officials, traffic police, youth and students, social workers and players and journalists along with parliamentarians.
