“World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims”

Performance “Do not forget and Slow down”

Performance will be done trough the reconstruction of traffic accident at the the most frequent crossroad in the capital city of Montenegro, Podgorica. It will be done in coordination with Police Directorate, Capital city of Podgorica, Clinical Center and Protection and rescue services . Also besides of this volunteers of ALPHA Centre will deliver leaflets and messages to the drivers, who will be at that time on that place. After a reconstruction of the traffic accident, there will be media statements of representatives of Police Directorate, Clinical Center, ALPHA Centre and one victim of traffic accident to send a clear message on the importance of this Global Day.

ALPHA CENTRE

ALPHA Centre is NGO from Montenegro and it is is the only one NGO in Montenegro dealing in the Road Safety area. Since 2008, ALPHA Centre started to implement Road Safety program.
We have realized numerous projects and activities in the area of raising awareness about necessity of knowing and respecting traffic rules among young people. We are marking World day of remembrance for Road Traffic victims since 2010. In the end of December, we will found Montenegro Foundation for Road Safety and gather all relevant stakeholders in this area, so that we can make an influence on citizens of Montenegro and make that number of traffic accidents and victims will be reduced at minimal level trough campaigns and lectures.
