On Sunday, 17th November, from 9:30 AM, the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims will be celebrated at the Great National Assembly Square, Chisinau.

The event will be organized and carried out by public organizations, such as the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Transportation, together with NGOs – “Automobile Club of Moldova” and “ProtectMD” Foundation, and civil society. The EU and UN Representatives in Moldova are also invited.

The Activity Schedule of the event is composed of: caravan of broken cars, a flash-mob shoes exhibition in memory of road victims, statements by public figures – Ministers and representatives of International Organizations, representatives of civil society.

Other activities on 17^th November are radio announcements, candles lighting, memorial service, and white balloons launching in memory of road crash victims.
