Safety Beyond Borders wants to use the occasion to rally Nigerians to take a stand for road safety through the various programs lined up for the Day of Remembrance. From 13th November, Safety Beyond Borders and media houses will begin road safety sensitization programs on television and radio stations. The print media will also be involved. Nigerians will have opportunities to participate via social websites and telephone calls during the programs to express their views about how Nigeria can achieve the decade of action and promote reduction in traffic fatalities in our country.
The events will end on 16th November 2014 will a large gathering of Nigerians at a candle light vigil to LIGHT A CANDLE IN THEIR MEMORY.
