On the event of wdr 2018 two big religious services were held first at couvent notre dame du carmel in hazmieh ; then at the basilique of notre dame du liban in harissa with the participation of representatives of his excellency president of the republic general michel aoun , chief of the security forces, general of the lebanese army, and several deputies.
His excellency the patriarche of the maronites monseigneur bechara rahi edited a written message on this particular event which was distributed in all the churches all over lebanon to be praised off during the religious service in this memorial day
