ASIRT Kenya, in collaboration with Usalama Watch Initiative, Youth for Road Safety Kenya, Injury Prevention and Information Centre-Kenya and the Kenya Red Cross will have activities at the Children’s Traffic Park in Nairobi. The activities include testimonies from crash victims and their families, presentations by school children and youth groups, and first responder demonstrations. This will be followed by a procession to a conference center where activities will be facilitated by the National Road Safety Council. Significant features include a collection and display of photographs of those that have died in road crashes. This is to emphasize the fact that there are real faces behind the statistics.
