“World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (WDR)”

200 students from Rose Mary English High School in Malad, Mumbai will be involved in the rally from their school to one of the busiest junctions in Malad with public transport BEST bus depot in the vicinity. The parents of road accident victim children who died last year will accompany the students and they will share their thoughts and views on road safety.

“Safe Kids Foundation”

Safe Kids Foundation (SKF) is an organization dedicated to the prevention of unintentional childhood injuries, which is the leading cause of death and disability of children globally. Safe Kids Foundation, India became a member of Safe Kids Worldwide in 2006 and works in close collaboration with Safe Kids Worldwide to improve the lives of children in India. The goal is to prevent unintentional injury to children by bringing about changes in attitudes, behavior, practices, laws and environment. Program is based on four pillars of Awareness, Education, Advocacy and Research.

We, at the Safe Kids Foundation, are committed to develop a “Safe Environment” enabling our children to lead healthy and vibrant lives. Current program activities focus on promoting road safety and home safety.
