World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (WDR)

“WDR – What do I have to do with this?”

On 20 November Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Curitiba, Detran teams will promote actions aimed at raising awareness and awareness among the population about the importance of preventing traffic accidents. The event takes place at the Memorial of Traffic Accident Victims in Barigui Park, next to the Automobile Museum.

An ecumenical service, musical presentation and delivery of white roses are scheduled as a symbol of remembrance, respect and hope in reducing and combating traffic accidents.

In addition to the Detran-PR, there are family members of fatal accident victims and the State Departments of Education and Health, and Traffic Police Battalion (BPTran). Also involved are the Observatório Nacional de Segurança Viária, The Instituto Paz no Trânsito, o Bodes do Asfalto, The Associação dos Centros de Avaliação de Condutores do Paraná, The Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR), The Tecnodata Educacional, The Associação dos Centros de Avaliação de Condutores do Paraná, The Secretaria Municipal de Transporte and Trânsito de São José dos Pinhais, Mobilidade Segura Company , Comissão Estadual do Projeto Vida no Trânsito, among others.

The Department of Transit of the State of Paraná (DETRAN/PR)

Detran, in Paraná state, is a public organization that performs public polices about road traffic and managements all vehicles and drivers.
