Media Release

Victoria’s road crash victims remembered

Lives lost and people injured on Victorian roads will be remembered at a special service to be held at Parliament House on Sunday 16 November, the World Day of Remembrance for Road Trauma Victims.

The Time of Remembrance service will take place in Queens Hall, Parliament House and will commence at 12:00pm.

The service will be a moving and timely reminder of the personal cost of road trauma, as we move into the Christmas holiday season – traditionally a time of increased road related deaths and injuries.

Road Trauma Support Services Victoria (RTSSV) has organised this event to provide an opportunity for the community to honour and acknowledge those who have been killed, injured and traumatised on our roads.

The event is open to the public, for more information people should contact RTSSV on 1300 367 797 or visit www.rtssv.org.au.
